Rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce Knowles perform during day 1 of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2010 held at The Empire Polo Club on April 16, 2010 in Indio, California. 

Jay Z was performing at Coachella and I had heard earlier in the night that Beyonce was going to join him for the encore. I was at the soundboard when the started and walked down the chute coming up right behind Beyonce's security just as they came together. This shot was an exercise in patience as they didn't come together until the very end. If I was discovered in that zone any earlier I would have been asked to move and missed the shot. They have rarely been photographed together in concert so this photo got a lot of action over the years.
