The week of Super Bowl is a chance to get out into a city and explore. It's a little harder when the wind chills are -20 and it's snowing, but who said driving in the snow isn't fun? You do learn how to control your skid after a while. No matter where the Bowl is, the events are the same old events steeped in tradition. Concerts, parties and a bustling downtown is what you get in a typical week. Here, downtown was pretty easy to navigate. Day of game we parked 3 blocks from the venue on the street for free. Got right into the venue no problem. It was almost weird how quiet it was outside hours before the game, but how loud it was inside. Especially when the Eagles made a good play, which was often. The game was great and it was fun to watch my hometown heroes finally win the big one. Oh right and I shot the Halftime Show. Here's the pix!
